John Layton (english) plays cajun accordion and guitar and is well known on the English cajun scene. He was a founder member of the Atchaflyers and has played at many major cajun, bluegrass and folk festivals in the UK and together with his many appearances in clubs, theatres and art centres brings a wealth of experience to Catfishgumbo.
Patric Turner (english) plays guitar and violin. His many years in the music business means that he is always in great demand as a musician and he plays regularly in Paris & Marseilles and at various venues in The UK. His rock solid guitar rhythms drive the band  and the lead guitar breaks add a modern twist to the classic Cajun sound of Catfishgumbo.
Philippe Bagot is French but is always true to his Breton roots. He plays the violin, guitar and sings in old time Acadian French.. In 1989 he spent some time in South West Louisiana where he discovered and grew to love the music and culture of the Cajun people. He even plated at the famous Liberty Theater in Eunice. He was involved, for more than 10 years, with the group Inisheer, playing traditional Irish music in Orléans. He is now playing the Cajun music he discovered all those years ago as the latest member of Catfishgumbo.
